I had the chance to test a Yanmar Vio 80 recently, and here's my take on it. First, the machine's mechanical thumb feature is straightforward but functional, allowing easy operation under various conditions. The hydraulic system is robust, providing reliable digging force. I noticed the air conditioning wasn’t perfectly cooling, which can be a concern during extended usage in warm climates. However, the 85% undercarriage condition and efficient blade functionality make it dependable for maneuvering and stable during digging.

Yanmar keeps everything in-house in their manufacturing process - a rarity these days. I appreciate knowing the machine and engine come from the same designer. Maintenance on the Vio80 feels straightforward - filter checks and hydraulic system inspections are accessible. It’s practical to check essential systems during fueling sessions. This streamlined approach simplifies handling for operators and technically aware supervisors. However, adding a secondary lock mechanism for added attachment safety could be a suggestion, but it looks like the current implementation works adequately for most use cases.

I had the opportunity to operate the 2014 Yanmar Vio80 for a couple of projects. The controls felt smooth and provided good precision, which made intricate tasks more manageable. The cab was comfortable, though a minor adjustment could improve its ventilation system. Maintenance was straightforward; greasing the components and inspecting the tracks were easy tasks.

Using the Yanmar Vio 80 has been a solid experience. The power it delivers feels adequate for most tasks I throw at it. Maintenance access isn't too complicated, though on colder days, starting can take a bit longer than I'd prefer. Anyway, it's functional and dependable for the most part.

I’ve operated quite a few excavators, and the Vio 80 stands out in some ways. Its design aids maneuverability in tight spaces, which is a huge plus. On the flip side, I thought the comfort could be improved a bit for extended use, as I experienced some fatigue. Great overall for construction jobs requiring precise operations.

The second hydraulic circuit is a game-changer for running multiple implements without compromise. The ability to adjust pressure settings from the cabin is convenient for attachments like hammers and mulchers. It seems designed for heavy-duty applications with user functionality in mind. I can appreciate the integrated cameras and enhanced safety features during operation. The maintenance accessibility is straightforward, which is always a plus.

As a seasoned operator, I've spent some time with the Yanmar Vio80 mini-excavator. The cabin setup is commendable for its clear visibility and ergonomic layout. Controls are responsive, making precise movements achievable. However, the dipper arm's length could occasionally limit material placement efficiency. Maintenance is convenient with accessible engine components. The shortcoming is minor compared to its overall solid performance.

I had the chance to work with the Yanmar Vio 80 on a construction site recently. Generally, the control was stable and smooth, which made operating the machine less demanding during longer shifts. However, I found maintenance to require additional checks compared to similar models I’ve used. Overall, it’s reliable and manages comprehensive tasks without much hassle.

Used the Vio 80 on a project last month. It's got its perks and quirks. The engine performance is solid; it handled heavy workloads effortlessly. Rubber tracks provide adequate ground stability, crucial on uneven surfaces. However, I had to adjust to the cab’s air circulation, which felt inconsistent. Setup adjustments, like the mechanical thumb, add to its usability. Overall, it's built for getting the job done, albeit with room for minor tweaks.

The Yanmar Vio80 has served me well in larger-scale projects. I appreciate how straightforward maintenance is-this saves both time and effort. The operational precision is commendable, though I noticed some minor responsiveness delays during rapid workload changes. It feels sturdy and well-built, suitable for demanding tasks.
