Structural features
Cylinder block: Made of single-piece alloy cast iron, with rigidity treatment below the centerline of the crankshaft, and replaceable wet cylinder liners and independent cylinder heads.
Piston, connecting rod and crankshaft assembly: The crankshaft is forged in one piece and has undergone dynamic balancing tests. The connecting rod is die-forged and has an oblique cut. It can be removed from the top of the cylinder block together with the piston. The crankshaft and connecting rod use steel-backed lead-copper alloy bearings.
